COVID policy

As a result of coronavirus, we have introduced a policy which all ticket holders must follow when attending a screening.

Please help us to keep you and all our volunteers safe by complying with the following:

  • Before the screening:
    • You must not attend a screening if you feel unwell or have possible coronavirus symptoms
    • Seats will be limited to 30 per screening
    • All ticket bookings must be made online
    • Groups of up to 6 can be seated together but must be booked at the same time

  • At the screening:
    • If there is a queue, you must socially distance outside the venue until you are allowed to enter
    • We will record your arrival time or if you have the NHS app you can scan the QR code to check in. If you scan the QR code we will ask to see your mobile phone screen to confirm you have checked in
    • You will be escorted to your allocated seats
    • You must not move around once you have been seated (except to go to the toilets)
    • There will be no bar or snacks for sale but you can bring your own food and drink. You cannot use the cutlery, crockery or glasses of the venue and MUST take your rubbish home with you
    • Masks must be worn at all times (except when eating or drinking)
    • Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrance and at the toilets. Handwashing facilities with soap are available in the toilets.
    • There will be a one-way system around the hall to get to the toilets
    • You must wait in your seat until an indicator shows that toilets are free instead of queueing

  • After the screening:
    • You will be asked to leave row by row through the fire exits
    • If you get a positive coronavirus test after you have attended a screening, you will be contacted by NHS Track and Trace with instructions of how to share details of people with whom you have had close, recent contact and places you have visited. Make sure you respond promptly and include details of the Lost In Film screening you attended so NHS Track and Trace can contact us if necessary.

Lost In Film has conducted a risk assessment which can be viewed here. We will be taking the following measures:

  • Chairs will not be used for 72 hours prior to the screening
  • We will provide hand sanitizer at the entrance/exit and at the toilets
  • We will clean handles/light switches/tables before and after screenings
  • Volunteers will wear masks and use gloves for putting chairs out/away
  • There will be a supply of spare masks in case anyone needs to replace their mask
  • We will create a seating plan for ticket holders based on the number of tickets per booking
