Our June film will be Hamnet...

In late 16th-century England, Agnes, a healer sensitive to the world around her, builds a home with William, a local tutor and aspiring playwright. As their lives fracture, they are tested by distance, silence, and grief. From writer/director Chloé Zhao, HAMNET tells the powerful story of love and loss that inspired the creation of Shakespeare's timeless masterpiece, Hamlet, with astonishing performances from Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal.

'The best film of the year. Chloé Zhao’s poetic direction pairs with devastating performances from Paul Mescal and Jessie Buckley. A heartbreaking, beautiful look at grief and family.' Samuel Leggitt JR, JVS Media and productions

'Hamnet is a heartbreaking examination of attempting to cope with grief brought on by unimaginable loss, featuring two brilliant lead performances from Jessie Buckley & Paul Mescal, and stunningly gorgeous visuals throughout.' Jeff Beck, The Blu Spot
