Nomadland (15)

Monday 25th April 2022

Doors and bar open 7pm, film starts 8pm

Our April film will be Nomadland...

Following the economic collapse of a company town in rural Nevada, Fern packs her van and sets off on the road exploring a life outside of conventional society as a modern-day nomad. Featuring real nomads as Fern's mentors and comrades, we follow her exploration through the vast landscape of the American West.

'Featuring one of McDormand's best performances - a role she occupies deeply - and emotionally dissecting the economic terrors of backwater America, 'Nomadland' is one of the best of the year.' Witney Seibold, Critically Acclaimed Podcast

'Life on the road has never been so tenderly captured, politically alive and profoundly moving.'  Ian Freer, Empire magazine

Tickets cost £5 for adults and £2.50 for under 18s, and are available online now.
