We are pleased to show this Saturday Special film of Rocketman...

A British musical drama based on the life and career of singer, songwriter and musician Elton John.

It's going to be a long, long time before a rock biopic manages to capture the highs and lows of an artist's life like Rocketman. This epic musical fantasy tells the incredible story of Elton John's breakthrough years. The film follows the fantastical journey of transformation from shy piano prodigy Reginald Dwight into international superstar Elton John. This inspirational story of a small-town boy who became one of the most iconic figures in pop culture is set to a soundtrack of Elton John's most beloved songs and performed by star Taron Egerton. Starring Jamie Bell as Elton's longtime lyricist and writing partner Bernie Taupin.

“Rocketman ramps the camp up to 11, throws on some sequinned spectacles, and sparks fireworks of pure joy in glitzy song-and-dance routines.” Sight and Sound

“Fletcher is the real star of this show, a director whose enthusiasm for musical storytelling shines through every frame, hitting all the emotional high notes.” Mark Kermode, Observer

Tickets cost £4 for adults and £2 for under 18s, and are available online now or in advance from Watts Trading or on the door if not already sold out.
