Our November Screen 2 film will be Samba...

about a man who came to France 10 years ago from Senegal who meets Alice, a senior executive who has recently undergone a burnout, and seeks solace in charity work at the immigration centre.  Both struggling to improve their lives, fate draws them together and down an unlikely path that will change them both irreparably. Combining humor and heart, Samba and Alice's story is a touching, topical look at issues - both personal and within our society - but with a lightness and soul to melt even the hardest of hearts.

'Some very big themes are given space to breathe in this remarkably naturalistic drama, which is livened up by terrific central performances...' Contactmusic.com

'Samba is blessed with the large presence of Omar Sy.' Times (UK)

Tickets cost £4 for adults and £2 for under 18s, and are available online now or in advance from Watts Trading or on the door if not already sold out.
