Our March main film will be The Children Act...
Emma Thompson stars as a brilliant, tortured judge facing a terrible moral dilemma at a crossroads in her career and marriage. Adapted by director Richard Eyre from Ian McEwan's novel, The Children Act follows the story of Fiona (Thompson) as she grapples with the case of a teenage boy from a Jehovah's witness family who needs a blood transfusion to treat his cancer - will she go against the wishes of the family to force him to have the life-saving treatment? Meanwhile, Fiona's all-consuming commitment to her job is putting a strain on her marriage to loving but neglected husband Jack (Stanley Tucci).
Tickets cost £4 for adults and £2 for under 18s, and are available online now or in advance from Watts Trading or on the door if not already sold out.
